The New SeaFlash 150 – The
innovative SEACAM SeaFlash 150 brings true I-TTL (Nikon)
and E-TTL (Canon) exposure automation to underwater
digital imaging. Battery power comes from a replaceable
NiMH battery cluster and features include a long-lasting
LED model light, circular flash tube, adjustable beam
angle for wide-angle and restricted via snap-on snoot,
adjustable power settings, and digital readout to show
amount of strobe capacity expended on previous exposure.
Beam angle at the widest is 130-degrees, and the weight
in salt water is just 70 grams negative. 200 flashes at
full power are projected from a battery pack, with a 1.2
second recycle at full power. |
SEAFLASH is a new
generation of powerful underwater flashguns with top electronics
and sensational handling. Whether mounted on a flash arm or
hand-held - the SEAFLASH is neutrally buoyant. All models are
integrated 10 watt modelling light with spot reflector which
makes aiming and focusing easier; the panel is illuminated. The
standard equipment of the SEAFLASH unit comprises detachable
dome glass, synchronous cable, charger and TTL system. The
halogen lamp an easily be changed. The equipment is completed by
an SOS emergency flash equipment and the highly sensitive slave
flash sensor.
There are 3 performance classes of the
Seacam Seaflash, but common features on each strobe include TTL
exposure, textured reflector, a glass dome, slave and signal
flash function, automatic charger. A pilot (model) light that
may be dimmed by 60% i s
available. When working with shy, reclusive fish, this
combination auto-focus assist and aiming light may be the only
way to get the shot.
There are 2 operating modes to assure
precise exposure in both TTL automatic and manual settings.
Ergonomic rotary switches are illuminated to provide correct
operation even in the dark. In manual there are 7 power levels
in steps of one aperture each, and in TTL up to 3 different TTL
systems with automatic recognition systems may be built-in. A
ready light is visible through the camera viewfinder, and with a
quick 2.5-second recycle time, photo-ops will not be lost due to
slow recycle.
Charging is accomplished in two -hours
or less, and a battery capacity display with LEDs lets the
photographer know how much power remains. An under voltage
circuit breaker prevents total discharge, eliminating potential
damage to the Nicad power source.

housing for - using the same aluminum cast, Seacam system flashgun housing cater for photographer who wish
to use the Nikon SB 26, SB 28, DX80, SB28X
underwater = the housing is also equip with
integrated 10 watt modelling light with spot reflector making
composition much easier.

As standard
on SEACAM housing are equip with the
conventional Nikonos V type plug (N5).
The plug is safer by the use of dual O-rings, and special
spring-mounted contacts are available on the housings for those
who may wish to use Nikonos, Ikelite, or Sea and Sea strobes. |
S6 Cable
- A Seacam exclusive, the
S6 plug connector provides 6 sturdy, plated pins with a quad
O-ring seal and an unbreakable curled cable |
We offer highly flexible
curled cables for all systems. The 6 wire cable consists of a
special plastic double shell and stands out for its special
resistance and long life. We do not only supply adapters, tees
for flash arms and special lengths but also a great variety of
plug types including the W6 wet
connector -
unique high-quality underwater TTL connector that can be
connected and disconnected underwater. For those wishing to
carry multiple camera systems on a single dive, yet carry only
one strobe system, a wet TTL is a must-have. |
